Sailing Across the Azores: A Week That Changed How I See Life

I just realized that I can’t really put into words feelings about things that happened more than a week ago. Or, to be honest, I can, but only with my voice, not in text. So in my head, only these words remain:
⛵ From the 24th of August and until the end of summer (it sounds so cool that I prefer this to saying 'until the 31st of August') I sailed across the Azores. It was my first experience like this. I saw the beauty of our world and felt a new side of life.
The most impressive thing was how easy and comfortable it was to meet 9 new people in a single day and then become good friends over just seven days. We lived together on the sailboat, we sailed together across the Atlantic, and we hiked together. And after... I mean now, it feels like I have known these people for years.
And what about me? It is simple: I discovered new edges of life and I am going to live that life. As soon as I can leave Portugal, I will get my sailing license, charter a sailboat, and feel all of this again.
For now, the photos from my first sailing trip will keep my heart warm ❤️
